Through intelligent regulatory policy, the administration has the ability to mitigate the prevalence of firearms in American streets. Though we cannot stop the weapon industry from marketing to vulnerable, highly paranoid individuals, nor can the current congress be effective against a powerful lobby, public policy can reduce the proliferation of violent firearms from damaging safety and security in the United States. All options for gun control should be on the table. But for long-term policy, sign this petition to reduce the proliferation of firearms on American streets.
