offer tax incentives to small businesses of less than 20 employees that provide medical, dental, and 401K benefits.

Created by T.C. on December 04, 2012

Providing a tax credit to small businesses who offer benefits to their employees would allow the company to hire another person. This would create job growth and improve the economy. Furthermore, the more people working, the more tax income the government would get to support the infrastructure.

Small businesses drive the U.S economy by providing jobs for over half of the nations private workforce, creating 60-80% of new net jobs as well. They make up more than 99.7 % of all employers and create more than 50% of nonfarm domestic product. Finally, it is proven that 1/2 of small businesses stay open after four years.

Therefore we need to do all we can to support them. Encouraging small companies to offer benefits would improve employment rates and help the economy grow.
