offer a tax through both houses of Congress to pay for the two wars started by the Bush Administration (Iraq & Afghan.).

Created by A.S. on March 21, 2013

Given that there is concern in Congress that the USA should have a balanced budget, it follows that those members of Congress primarily concerned with this proposition would support the step to retroactively pay for their own policies and raise money through taxation to financially support the two wars started under a Republican Administration (those in Iraq and Afghanistan). We think that President Obama, acting through both houses of Congress, should offer our legislators the opportunity to support a balanced budget by taking responsibility for their expenditures. This is not an unprecedented action since taxes were raised during WWII in order to pay for that war.
