Offer those people who have been wrongly committed, involuntariy, to a psych ward, a review process for expungement.

People, including myself, have been involuntarily committed to psychiatric wards due to a physician's error in prescribing multiple psychotropic drugs, causing serotonin syndrome, which can make one suicidal. My physician, in the psych ward, determined this to be the cause for my irrational behaviour, as I have never been suicidal. Once the drugs were flushed from my system, I returned to a normal state of mind. However, as a result of this involuntary commitment, I have lost my right to keep and bear arms, for life. The federal government has no mechanism for appeal. If it is shown that a commitment is because of an anomaly, and the patient is no longer a threat to himself, and is of sound mind and body, his/her rights should be restored.
