After the tragic Taliban shooting of 14 year-old Malala Yousafzai in Pakistan, signers of this petition request that an offer of Amnesty in the United States be extended to her and her family, in the event that the girl survives this horrific assassination attempt. Malala Yousafzai has been celebrated globally for her activism, most notably her demand that Pakistani girls be allowed access to basic education.
