We the people are tasked with electing individuals to represent us in our government and then trust these elected individuals. But when politicians are allowed to lie we lose the ability to trust our elected officials. We the people would like to have all those running for a government office and those in a government office to be put under oath. For if politicians are allowed to lie in front of all of america what reason should we the people have to trust a word they say? What right do they have to represent us if their views, and their life is a lie?
