For decades, it has been suspected that an apelike creature commonly known as "Bigfoot" (or "Sasquatch") exists in forested pockets of North America -- specifically, the Pacific Northwest and New England regions of the United States.
Since the 1960s, there have been thousands of sightings of these creatures by people of all ages, from all walks of life. While technology has afforded us the opportunity to obtain substandard audio and video recordings of these elusive creatures, the public has never been granted irrefutable proof of their existence.
By signing this petition, we ask that the government officially acknowledge the existence of these creatures, to allow us to begin to understand their place within the North American ecosystem, and to finally put rampant speculation to rest.
