It is clearly true that the state of Kansas has become an independent third world backwater and should no longer be considered part of the United States. Pew Research reports that 50% of Americans believe the Earth was created 6,000 years ago, and 49.8% of that comes from Kansas. The other 0.2% is undetermined, but we believe it is probably comprised exclusively of President Obama and the Duggar family. While Kansas falls in the middle of the bell curve for crime rates in the United States, it is most certainly at the lower tail of the distribution in intelligence and innovation. We believe that it would be best if the Obama Administration officially recognized the state of Kansas as an autonomous third world country. To keep the same number of stars on the flag, we propose to annex Niger.
