The metric system of measurement is used by almost every developed country except for the US, and is much simpler to use and more logical than the Imperial system (which we currently use). Although we understand that changing all the road signs, etc. will take money we're not in a financial position to spend right now, we petition you to begin requiring the teaching of BOTH the metric and Imperial systems of measurement in public schools immediately, and eventually officially converting the entire government into the metric system. We believe that this is an investment we must make in order to keep up with the modern world and continue being the home of great innovators.
