Officially change the name of the Atlanta Braves to the Cobb County Bossmen by executive order

Created by J.A. on March 09, 2016

Cobb County, the home of the Braves' new $1.1 billion complex, has a very different culture and history than Atlanta. Seeing as how Cobb taxpayers will be splitting almost half the cost of the team’s relocation, I believe it more than fair that – due to their financial contributions – they should be in charge of renaming the team, as well. To honor the noble legacy of Marietta, Ga. native Ray "Big Boss Man" Traylor (a beloved pro wrestler who passed away in 2004) we are urging President Obama to sign an executive order on behalf of all Cobb County taxpayers to change the name of the professional sports team from its offensive and geographically incorrect namesake "the Atlanta Braves" to the much more fitting and localized team name "The Cobb County Braves."
