We haven't used our military for "Defense" since the revolutionary war. In order to be more honest with the American people we should change the name of the "Defense Budget" to the "Attack Budget" or the "Corporate Interest Attack Budget."
But to pretend that we are defending something when we attack countries that haven't done anything to us is disengenous and hurts the grandios reputation that The United States has spent over 200 years building.
I don't think that our fore fathers fought of tyranny just to become the tyrants.
