We the people of the United States feel the state of Florida has embarrassed our beloved country one too many times and continues to do so with seeming impunity. While removing Florida from the Union would be an acceptable repercussion for their constant antics, we feel (some of us, at least) this punishment to be too harsh at the current time. As such, we have come together to discuss a fair and reasonable course of action. After many days of heated debate, a consensus was reached: public shaming.
Mr. President, you are entering the final stretch of your second term. The time for placation and appeasement has passed. Now is the time for action. We the people humbly request, nay demand, the ignorant masses of the state of Florida be taught a lesson.
