Officially declare that all persons attempting to secede from the Union are "The Sorest Losers in U.S. History"

As this administration is well aware, thousands of people are wasting this administration's time by creating frivolous petitions asking permission to Secede from the Union. I have come to the conclusion (though not a difficult one to draw) that these people are just the Sorest Losers in the History of the United States. Because their history of not being able to accept defeat goes deeper than this election, or the last, or even the election of President Clinton; It begins in 1865, when the Confederate army was defeated in the Civil War. And somehow, since then, as the rest of the country has moved forward, the far right has moved backward. And the far right has moved backward since 1865 for the same reason that some of them are trying to secede today: They refuse to humbly accept defeat.
