Even though the NRA has had incredible influence on governmental policies, its ideas that no gun control or reform are required shows its unwillingness to co-operate and is creating a bureaucracy concerning this issue. Its belief that semi-automatic rifles and extra ammo clips should still be legal after the recent tragedies shows how it is not understanding of the fact that these weapons and parts contribute to mass shooting. Because they feel that we should still have these weapons available to the public proves that, in essence, they are supporting the murder of innocent civilians. Because of this, they should be labeled as a hate group and be removed from political influence.
