That the government of the United States of America would allow one of the States to withdraw from the union because a higher proportion of its residents voted for a losing Presidential candidate than President Obama is completely ridiculous. Even more ludicrous are the signers of secession petition in the States where a majority of residents voted for President Obama.
The signers of petitions requesting the ability to secede over the loss of an open and fair election deserve a response, and we, the signers of this petition, believe the only appropriate response is to say, "You are nit-wits."
For those who believe this petition to be frivolous, you are correct.
