The Armenian slaughter that was perpetrated by the Ottoman Empire in the period of 1915 to 1923 has yet to be recognized as genocide by the United States government. This should be official United States policy and Turkey should be pressured into officially recognizing it as such as well. The Armenian people deserve recognition of injustice.
