Every year approximately 40,000 babies are born with a congenital heart defect. Most of these children don't make it to their first birthday. This petition is to hopefully get enough signatures that the government will have Feb.7-Feb.14 nationally recognized as CHD Awareness Week! This will help with awareness and hopefully research.
