The UK has forced a porn filter on its people. The filter itself sounds like a reasonable idea, but it goes far beyond porn, to the point of outright censorship. An excerpt from a online article stated that:
"BT filters supported homophobia, with a category blocking, "sites where the main purpose is to provide information on subjects such as respect for a partner, abortion, gay and lesbian lifestyle, contraception, sexually transmitted diseases and pregnancy."
The British government is limiting it's citizens freedom of speech and information. The US should not stand for this, and advocate for the takedown of the filter immediately.
