I firmly believe that dragons do exist but are forced into hiding because of their fear of being hunted. If we officially listed dragons as an endangered species, they would feel more welcome to interact with humans and be seen in the wild.
Violence against dragons has been present for many centuries. From knights in shinning armor to the dragonborn, we as a society have been taught to hate dragons. We need to end this stereotype that dragons are bad and learn to appreciate them.
We ask to list dragons as an endangered species in an attempt to build a better relations with them. Dragons could have a lot to offer to modern day society along with transportation and energy.
