Officially recognize Columbia as the symbolic representation of the American nation and people.

Created by A.G. on August 04, 2015

Columbia has had a long history as the symbolic female representation of the American nation and people since our earliest days. She has been a symbol of liberty, justice, and equality throughout our history; from calling our men to arms during the Civil War, to protecting the rights of Asian immigrants during the late 19th century, and to serving as a beacon of equality and justice for suffragettes seeking the right to vote in the early 20th century. Since Uncle Sam is the symbolic representation of the United States government we the people of this great nation petition our government to revive and officialize as a part of our national culture our historical representative, the beautiful and indisposable Columbia.
