Officially Recognize Dyslexia as a Learning Disability and to establish a specialized curriculum and teaching methods

Dyslexia training to be mandatory in all Teacher Training. Establish a proven Curriculum and Teaching Methods. Teacher's should be required to attend mandatory and consistent ongoing professional development on Dyslexia. All teachers should be trained to understand Dyslexia and its impact on learning. Teachers should be aware of when to provide appropriate intervention. Mandating early screening and identification of at-risk students. Providing for access to assistive technology for all at-risk students and accommodations in the classroom which includes testing. All schools must accept the diagnosis that Dyslexia is real. Our Children are extraordinary people it is essential that our Teachers become Dyslexic Specialists. Let us not leave our children behind they are our future!
