I strongly believe that the Syrian National Council represents the Syrian people and ask you to officially recognize it as the sole legal representative of the Syrian people. By doing so you also remove the legitimacy of the brutal regime of Bashar Al Assad. That regime never represented the interest of the Syrian people and their aspirations for a free and just society.
By recognizing the Syrian National Council the peaceful struggle of the Syrian people against the regime of Bashar Al Assad will move forward eventually stopping the bloodshed and suffering of the Syrian people.
