Columbus did NOT discover "America" at all, ever, and the official holiday of "Columbus Day" needs to be changed to "Indigenous People's Day" in honor of the countless Indigenous People that suffered after the European invasion, that picked up speed after Columbus. It is but a small gesture, but one out of respect for the millions who died, who were here before us, and who we must never forget.
