Bacon is bacon. Succulent, crispy, delicious morsels of pork belly smoked to perfection and cooked in its own juices. Turkey bacon is not. Turkey bacon is not delicious in any way. It's merely a way for those who cannot or will not partake in delicious actual bacon to feel as though they are part of the cool crowd. They are not. Henceforth I ask that we stop this mockery and all agree that what was previously referred to as turkey bacon shall now be called turkey strips.
