Officially request that the Buffalo Bills remain in the city of Buffalo for the good of the region.

This petition is a formal plea on behalf of the city of Buffalo and the greater metropolitan area to keep the Buffalo Bills in Buffalo. The Bills are the only team to play in New York State, thus being the only team generating NYS tax revenue. In addition, the team gives the region a clear sense of community. There's far more than football at stake in terms of the team's possible relocation plans. This petition is not a request for the White House to buy the team, OR for any legislation to be passed that would put restrictions on the NFL. This petition is a request for support, for powerful individuals to speak up in defense of a community that seems to have little say in its own future.
