Officially Stand by American Women and their Reproductive Rights

This election, there were propositions on ballots all over the country that would have, not only limited a woman's right to choose, but also potentially limited her access to common forms of birth control. It would also put her access to many necessary medical procedures, including emergency contraception, care for miscarriages, treatments for cancer, tubal pregnancies, and infertility, at risk. We believe that a woman is entitled to decide when and if she will start a family, and that medical care concerning her own body are between her and her doctor alone. We ask that the Obama Administration officially announce that it stands by women and their reproductive rights, and to take measures to protect her access to necessary medical care and family planning services.
