I propose the United States officially convert from the English Imperial system to the Metric System.
Our current system of measurement is sadly outdated and confusing not only to the rest of the world, but to Americans themselves. I believe it is time to face the facts that the Metric System just makes more sense!
I realize that switching now would not be exactly simple, but if we don't start soon, it will just get more difficult as time goes on!
Let's join the rest of the world and use the Metric System already!
