As we understand all politicians have a set salary as most government employees do. However, as Politicians in the best interest of the country most people feel political heads incomes surpasses the deserving amount. I as a medically retired veteran whom had served in the Army for 8 years 10 months am recieving a paycheck that barely covers ones need for sustinance for survival. As an active duty soldier my salary for three years would barely touch that of the lowest paid politician in the Whitehouse.
I petition that all political figures, to include; State Representatives, Senators, Congress(wo)men, Presidential Cabinet members (to include Presidents and Vices) to officiate a bill to instate a one-thirds pay cut until the country deficit has reached 4 Trillion dollars.
