One bill, One Subject. Ban all riders on proposed bills - No more hidden agenda's in legislation.

Created by A.H. on January 30, 2013

Right now in our current law it is legal for law-makers to attach unrelated riders, or unwanted amendments to proposed legislation. This allows lawmakers to hide agendas in their proposed legislation, and prevents the American public from knowing what is all included in a particular bill. To often proposed legislation is hundreds of pages long, and not enough people have the time it takes to read every word. ONE BILL, ONE SUBJECT will make it illegal for lawmakers to include unrelated subjects in proposed legislation, it will prevent them from proposing all or nothing bills, and will prevent hidden agendas.
