The Move to a Straight Popular General Election and abolishing the Electoral College. We the people ask President Obama, Congress, and the Senate to begin the process of converting our electoral process to a Straight Popular Vote system versus the present electoral College modality. Twice, since 2000, the people have witnessed the voice of the people being usurped by an outdated and archaic system of electing our President. We move that one person = one vote and that the sum total of all votes shall be utilized to elect our highest office. He/She with the popular vote shall assume the role as Commander in Chief of these great states.
