ONE STATE ONE VOTE

Created by D.G. on November 18, 2016

I propose that we amend the US Constitution to allow for the US President and Vice-President be elected by the process of One State One Vote. We live in a nation of united states. Each state is sovereign and according the the 10th amendment “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.” This One State One Vote concept would allow all states to be represented equally. As we have now with the electoral college the states are not equally represented. This proposal would stop only a few states California, New York, Illinois, etc from dictating how the rest of the country has to live and what rules they have to obey.
