We the people acknowledge that our Military Veterans who have served for us, are lacking in the support that they receive. Specifically, veterans who have been grievously wounded, either physically or mentally, through traumatic combat experiences.
To resolve this we propose a new Federally implemented and regulated tax to provide funds directly to the Department of Veterans affairs. This tax would be $24.00 per year per employed person within the United States. If this were applied on a weekly basis it would be applied at $0.46 per employed person.
This would generate approximately $7,012,297,553.18 (based off of current unemployment and population censuses) of funding to be made directly available each year. The sole use of these funds would be to provide aid to combat veterans.
