open adoption records.

Created by J.S. on December 17, 2014

By opening adoption records in all states, every United States citizen will have access to their pertinent information and birth certificates, including adoptees. This contributes to adoptees' ability to form a more complete self identity. In addition this is a basic right that is afforded to all other United States citizens. Furthermore, access to the medical history of birth parents can prevent medical complications and deaths, by helping to contribute to quicker diagnosis.
