The cultural and economic benefits of opening the US borders to those that wish to work, travel, and participate in our domestic economy are without doubt. End the tyranny of the US Border Patrol and allow those that wish to enjoy the fruits of the market to do so.
Border control equates to a monopoly control of the labor supply. Immigrants do not "take" jobs. They compete with them fairly on an open labor market, thereby making everyone better off.
