California is in extreme drought, we need water! A main water source in Santa Clarita is the Bouquet Canyon Creek. The creek flowed free since the 1930' but it has been shut off for 10 years! 10 years! They closed the creek because of the so called "the unarmored threespine stickleback fish," it is found only in North America; its recognised range is southern California, though isolated reports have been made of it occurring in British Columbia and Mexico. So we are risking the water wells and homes of the people of Bouquet Canyon Rd and Santa Clarita for a "fish?" Really a fish?! Aren't peoples homes, thirst, crops more important than a fish? The creek isnt flowing, how can a fish live in a creek with no water??? Turn the creek on! We need water!
