It is inconceivable to me that the US military was caught for hours with "its pants down" during the attacks of 9/11 on our homeland. Heck, any third-rate nation could have nuked us during such a wide window of opportunity!
Who ordered all the fighter support to leave our nation's capitol undefended on that day? Who ordered that military exercises involving hijacked planes be scheduled for THAT VERY DAY, thereby confusing the FAA and military personnel?
If Congress can investigate President Clinton for something as silly as Monica Lewinsky, why then, haven't the American people been informed through a proper investigation exactly HOW and WHY our military (receiving 51% of all our tax dollars!) failed to be of any consequence during the crucial 2 hours that 4 airplanes were hijacked?
