In this world we have so many people who will take their life while simultaneously we will have people who want nothing more than to live die without a transplant. Suicide attempts are very violent and can cause unintended harm to others. Some people are so hesitant to do something themselves they resort to a violent act against another that will lead to police becoming involved. It is possible that crime to be lower if the government would provide assisted suicide. Instead of a shooting at a mall or a hostage situation a person could be screened and then allowed to choose death. Having that occur at a medical facility would allow for all organs and blood to be donated. This could provide life for many that want to live while also giving a peaceful solution to those that don't.
