The tension between North and South Korea has been intensified in last three months since the nuke test was conducted by North Korea and the situation is worsening. North Korea is threatening to shut down Gaesong Industrial Park. We cannot let this happen because GIP is the only lifeline to sustain the paralyzed relationship between North and South Korea.
1. We would like to request Nobel Peace Prize Winner Obama to proactively open up a dialogue with North Korea because it seems that the Strategic Patience Policy, in which US has ignored North Korea for last four years, is not working.
2. We would like to request President Obama to participate in nurturing GIP by recognizing the products made in GIP as made in Korea. Doing so would make it possible for the products to be exported to US.
