Open the Fed to Small Business Start Ups

Created by D.F. on December 04, 2012

When I see lines at the unemployment office, I see people with skills, talent, and expertise. I see bakers, machinists, accountants, professionals, and experts. I see business owners. The only difference between the people in the line and the people offering the job is access to capital.

1) Open the Fed to Loans to start up businesses and hire employees, including capital and equipment costs. It is cheaper and more economically viable than going through a bank, and the risk is more spread out. Currently, the banks are not willing to lend, even through SBA.
