While it may happen in Hollywood that a 79-year-old dies peacefully in his sleep after a great night surrounded by friends, it does not in real life. The human body does not give up on life like that.
We have received no answers on the cause of Justice Scalia's death. From various news outlets, including the Washington Post, we were told:
He died of natural causes.
He died of a heart attack.
He did not die of a heart attack.
He was found peacefully in his bed with a pillow over his head.
There was no security detail protecting him at the time.
The decision to forego an autopsy was made by a Justice of Peace 3 hours away who never even saw the scene of death.
