The GI Bill is designed to pay 100% of flight training as part of FAA part 141 training (degree granting). Some veterans already earned college degrees and would like to pursue flight training without having to earn another college degree. FAA part 61 training is faster and more feasible for veterans who are working full-time while learning to fly.
