As seen in this photo from Texas Rep Juan “Chuy” Hinojosa, timestamps regarding the senate's vote on SB 5 are inconsistent, and possibly intentionally altered in favor of the "yea" vote:

Fortunately (for womens' rights activists, and for the democratic process), this didn't work. But that doesn't mean it wasn't illegal.
It's unclear whether this is state issue or a federal issue, but if voting fraud is being committed by members of the state senate, can the state legislature be trusted to investigate thoroughly?
We urge the administration to open an investigation into the possibility that elected representatives, or people under their instruction, illegally modified the voting record in an attempt to pass their bill.
