The majority of responses that these petitions receive are either justifications for current actions, or a blatant refusal to comment.
The Obama administration needs to look online and see that people are not buying these responses (Adding a comment section to these responses would show this too). The government portrays an image to a lot of people that their needs are not heard unless you are a rich lobbyist.
In conclusion if all you're going to do for things thousands of people care about is give a canned answer or not respond at all, then we petition that this site is brought down and save the tax dollers spent on maintaining it.
