Open our skies to every airline for the good of all passengers

Created by A.R. on September 23, 2011

Create and sign more pure cabotage (open skies) treaties!

Our nation is committed to fair competition in the marketplace. This exists throughout most of the marketplace, American owned companies sell their wares throughout the world and foreign companies sell theirs in the United States. This globalization has led to greater prosperity and standards of living through the world.

Why is it not so with airlines?

Foreign owned airlines are not allowed to operate on domestic routes in the United States.

American owned airlines are not able to operate on domestic routes in most countries.

This harms all passengers. More options would mean lower prices and more traveling. More traveling means more business and more tourism. More airlines operating in this country would mean more jobs for all
