Open a rational dialogue with Congress and push gun control reforms immediately.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Beginning with Columbine, the NRA has promoted an idea that guns are not the cause of killings, people are. Furthermore, more guns are the answer. In the case of the Connecticut school shooting, ten year olds could not have protected themselves. It's time for Congress to stop dragging its' feet and pass real, rational gun reform aimed at stopping this from happening. There is nothing wrong with people who are of able mind having guns. However, the fact that someone this deranged was able to obtain a gun with no problem and kill 27 people including 18 children, is absolutely disgusting. President Obama needs to take the lead in this issue in the interest of national security.
