Within the next month Congress will vote to allow the President to have Trade Promotion Authority aka Fast Track authority to introduce the Trans-Pacific Partnership to only an up and down vote in Congress. This trade agreement has been negotiated in secret over the last 10 years and the American people have a right to read what is in it before it proceeds further. We need to know if this deal really is good for trade or just a Trojan horse to protect business models and tilt the playing field further in the direction of the large legacy industries. Our demand is to release the full text of the Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement before Fast Track is voted on by at least a month. Release any and all reports that were allowed to view the act detailing the economic impact on Americans.
