Apparently it is entirely acceptable for the state of Georgia to execute a man, Troy Davis, even when most of the witnesses who testified against him at trial have since recanted.
Even more disturbing, since 2001, the state of Texas has executed more than four times the number of men and women than Georgia has since 1976.
Over half of the other nations in the world do not practice capital punishment, yet the United States continues this archaic practice? The time is now to end this human rights nightmare.
