Gathering of information is going to get easier and more effective. The world society is changing on what privacy means.
The underlying goal of NSA PRISM program is to make America the world safer. A goal most of the humans on the planet agree upon.
So what is the correct way to achieve the goal with these new technologies. Using classical war tactics are meaningless with the new communication infrastructure is new.
Even through the NSA and other agency can gather data. Doesn't mean are effective in discovering information to make the world from that data. How effective have they been to date?
Now if we crowd source the data mining will make everyone aware. Even those that want to do violence, will have harder time hiding. Connections can be made or break faster.
