The people of the United States of America have long been kept in the dark about the exact spending habits of the Federal Government. As our elected body of representatives, the Government has an obligation to spend only what they collect throughout the course of a fiscal year with no exceptions and then produce receipts and/or other forms of documentation that can be validated, in plain English and understanding, to the tax payer. It is important that we as individuals understand clearly that our tax money is being spent in our best interest and used in the purposes for which taxes were originally established as laid out by the Constitution that governs our nation, in the proclamation of Enumerated Powers.
