In as much as freedom is meaningless if encroached upon or chained to government whims or desires; welfare, state aid by the federal government or often highly limited aid in desasters become meaningless as does government gifts.
The real issues as agreed to under the Articles of Statehood and the U.S. Constitution are safety, the will of the actual lawful citizens, possible government Tyranny, collusion with US enemies and/or against the states
& citizens, and whether the federal/state governments still uphold U.S. rights, safety & our U.S. Constitution and thus the purpose our founders originally asigned to government. Failure in these areas or as a detriment to the states and/or citizens mean the contract between the governed and those tasked to govern is void. (Debate open to all.)
